Marketing & Public Relations

Seaside’s marketing team has grown significantly over the summer due to a handful of amazing and dedicated interns. Collectively, our goals are to present Seaside in the best possible light, to expand who we interact with, to grow our

audience and reach, and to have a consistent, clear and cogent message. Our interns help with managing our Social Media pages, Website, Newsletter & Blog, Public Relations and all the things needed to support those activities. The two marketing teams are:

1. Content Generation & Community Management: This team manages the editorial calendar, writes social media posts, blog & newsletter content and press releases. They also oversee social media channels, engage with followers, other organizations and development of all campaign materials.

  • Skills needed: Writing and editing, public relations, social media management, and Trello.

2. Operations, Analytics & Platform Management: This team manages all social media platforms, our website, MailChimp, HootSuite, and Canva. They ensure we are maximizing functionality of all subscriptions and platforms.

  • Skills needed: Video editing, graphic design, Wix management, google suite, and google analytics.
