O’Maley Middle School and Seaside Sustainability Inc., a charitable organization committed to providing adventure-based experiential education, have partnered together to offer a new Bradford Ski & Board Program for Gloucester middle schoolers. The six-week program meets Monday afternoons Jan. 9, 23 and 30; Feb. 6, 13 and 27. Participants will be provided transportation from the school to Bradford Ski Area in Haverhill and back again. The bus would leave after school ends, and return around 7:15 p.m. Any days missed because of school closure will be added on to the end. If needed, equipment rental is available. Beginner or refresher lessons in skiing or snowboarding are also offered. Bradford has 13 trails and an expansive state-of-the-art terrain park with lots of jumps, rails and boxes.
Cost per student is $245 for lift ticket only, or $295 for lift ticket and lessons; checks or credit cards are accepted.
