This report is titled: Macroplastic Accumulation in the Great Marsh: Findings and a Blueprint for Action.

Seaside Sustainability's team surveyed and removed macroplastic pollution in Great Marsh, and was able to map multiple areas of specific concern. A grading system was created to rank each location’s debris density, hazards, and logistics of plastic removal, allowing for efficient coordination of volunteer clean up and providing insight for local conservation commissions, DPWs, and volunteer groups in executing future remediation efforts.

This is a collaboration between Merrimack Valley Planning Commission, Massachusetts Bays National Estuary Partnership, & Seaside Sustainability.
