Since 2012, the Tuesday following American Thanksgiving has been designated as a moment of global activism and generosity. Seaside Sustainability would like to encourage us all to use today as an opportunity to not only reflect on the ways we can each impact our environment, but to also take action. If you would like to join the over thirty million people celebrating Giving Tuesday worldwide, here are some simple ways you can help:
Donate- Seaside’s stewardship and activism are only possible due to the incredibly generous donations of those who share our mission. Since 2016 we have been working to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through project-based learning, educational and legislative climate advocacy, and remedial technology. If you are able, please consider giving to our planet this season the way you would any other friend.Â
Give Time- When people work in numbers a little time and effort go a long way. There are countless opportunities to get involved with Seaside both virtually and in-person.Â
