This week, we will be featuring Gabe Kusiatin as our Intern Spotlight!
Gabe is a senior at Tulane University studying Environmental Studies and International Development. In his spare time, he loves to play soccer, surf, and spend time with his dog.
At Seaside Sustainability, Gabe is on the Legislation and Human Resources teams. His favorite part about his internship experience has been the opportunity to meet people around the country who share his passion for protecting the oceans. He has loved getting to connect with passionate and determined people who strive to make a positive impact on the environment.
Gabe chose to intern at Seaside Sustainability because of the abundance of opportunities to learn about environmental legislation and administrative skills. He loves the fact that the internship requires that interns are a part of two teams because it provides an opportunity to build a variety of different skills.
In the future, Gabe hopes to work in environmental policy and renewable energy.
