This week we will be featuring Gabby de la Vera as our Intern Spotlight!
Gabby is a Project Manager for the Green Consulting and Business Projects teams. She is entering her senior year at the University of Georgia and is majoring in Environmental Economics and Management with a minor in Environmental Law. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, working out at the gym, pet sitting, roller skating, and attending UGA sports games.
For the Green Consulting team, Gabby has been creating tools for new interns to utilize during their onboarding process to help them learn about sustainability issues and effective consulting tactics. For the Business Projects team, she has been collaborating with other teams at Seaside Sustainability to learn more about their current projects and how they can collaborate with external partners to enhance their projects. Gabby has enjoyed setting the foundation for these teams, and has learned a lot about being a Project Manager and strong leader!
Gabby chose to intern at Seaside Sustainability because she hopes to become a sustainability consultant after college. The Green Consulting team has helped her learn about applying new technologies and learning styles to enhance sustainability knowledge.
After graduating from UGA, Gabby plans to either attend a graduate school focused on sustainable business management or entering the workforce!
