Part-Time Development Director Job Position
Seaside’s part-time Development Director will be responsible for working directly with our ED and our Board in building relationships with people and organizations, securing philanthropic support that helps to fuel our many programs.
We are looking for a person who is local to Cape Ann, is passionate and enthusiastic about Seaside’s mission, and has an understanding of the importance this work has in driving change in communities around the world. Ultimately, the ideal candidate will work to help grow the organization and increase donorship throughout the year.

Finding and engaging ideal donors from public and private investors

Creating a respectful reputation for Seaside

Collaborate with the board of directors and our ED to create and implement a fundraising plan

Maintain relationships with existing donors

Manage fundraising and possible special events
Responsibilities

Local to Cape Ann with established connections

Proven work experience as a Development Director or similar role

Written and verbal communication skills to speak with donors and other stakeholders

Good organizational and time management skills
