This week’s intern spotlight is Gabriella Mack!
Gabriella is currently a Master’s degree student and graduate fellow in the Civil Engineering department at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts. Native to Nashua, New Hampshire, she has always enjoyed exploring the White Mountains. She is also passionate about animals and hiking. Gabriella’s passion and knowledge for the environment led her to join Seaside Sustainability so that she could help make a difference in preserving the environment.
Currently, Gabriella is the Project Manager for Information Collection and also works on the Green Scholars Team, as well as the Legislation and Policy Team. Gabriella chose to intern with Seaside Sustainability because she wanted to be able to apply her engineering knowledge and skills to one of her passions. She also wanted to surround herself with people who can help expand her viewpoints and grow as a professional and as an individual. Gabriella really enjoys her time working at Seaside Sustainability because of the people she works with. Everyone is very encouraging and challenges one another to be the best version of themselves.
After she graduates in May, she plans to focus on ways to help the world become more sustainable so that future generations can enjoy the beauty of nature.
